Sondra J. Ellis

Sondra Jean Ellis 80 of Collinsville, Illinois passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at Alton Memorial hospital in Alton, Illinois. Sondra was born on January 28, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Ralph and Pearl nee Pearlman Zorn.

Sondra was a former dispatcher for Nameoki Township and she also worked for Gem cleaners and retired as the kitchen manager of the Fireman''s Hall in Collinsville, Illinois.

Sondra is survived by her husband William whom she married on June 23, 1964. She is also survived by her children Laura (Tony) Marchetti of Collinsville, Illinois, Kevin (Donna) Taylor of Cedarburg, Wisconsin and Keith (Stacey) Ellis of Collinsville, Illinois. Three grandchildren Kristen (Terry), Michelle (Joe) and Bryan (Beth). Seven great grandchildren Jonathon, Taylor, Ellis, Jordan, Sierrah, Kailee and Amelia. A sister Miriam DePaulo of Las Vegas, Nevada. A niece Debra DePaulo and nephew Jeff DePaulo both of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is also survived by a very dear friend Tina Boothman of Collinsville, Illinois.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Illinois on Friday June 30, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Service: Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday July 1, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Illinois with Rev. Ron Habermehl officiating. Interment of follow at the Lake View Cemetery in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
