Obituary

Stefano Dima, 73, of Maryville, Ill., born Feb. 24, 1940, in Palermo, Sicily, died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.

Mr. Dima was head waiter for Tony's in St. Louis, Mo., for 37 years. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine, nee Lanzalacqua, Dima.

Surviving are his wife, Dawn, nee Perry, Dima, whom he married on Feb. 9, 1995; three sons, Joseph Dima of Collinsville, Ill., Richard Dima of Chicago, Ill., and Steve (Laura) Dima of Belleville, Ill.; two brothers, Tony Dima of Collinsville, Ill., and John Dima of Maryville, Ill.; and three grandchildren, Joshua Dima, Christopher Dima and Nathan Dima.

Visitation: Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at the funeral home with Father John Beveridge officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
