Stephan D. Recklein, 48, of Collinsville, Ill., born July 15, 1966, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at his residence.

And then there were six.....

Stephan was a family man, very loving, caring and nurturing. He loved cars and animals, almost to a fault. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Harlean, nee Schardan, Recklein; a son, Stephan Recklein; a stepson, Jared Nevenner; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Recklein.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Recklein, two daughters, Megan Recklein and Kymie Recklein, two sons, John Recklein and Nicholas Recklein, and a stepson, Daniel (Alicia) Nevenner, all of Collinsville, Ill.; four brothers, Hal-Jeffrey (Heidi) Recklein of Collinsville, Ill., Keith (Ann) Recklein of Collinsville, Ill., Kent Recklein of Caseyville, Ill., and P. Michael (Charmaine) Recklein of Maryville, Ill.; two sisters, Julie (Michael) Connor of Belleville, Ill., and Marcee Janten of Collinsville, Ill.; and many, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

According to his wishes, there will be no services held and his remains will be cremated.
