Stephen D. Howell 53 of Collinsville, IL, passed away on December 4, 2019 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Stephen was born April 16, 1966 in Granite City, IL.

Stephen was an electrician at Granite City Steel for many years. Preceded in death by his parents, Ivy Howell and Jenez (Morrison) Howell, Stephen also preceded in death by his sister, Julie Marie Howell.

Survived by his loving companion Donna Harvey of Collinsville, IL as well as her children Kerstin Howell, Beth Howard, Courtney Howard Bell, Matthew Howard, nine grandchildren, his sisters Cathy Mcllory from Erin, TN, Jennifer (Al) Larson, St. Louis, MO, nieces and nephews, Melissa Siner, Andrea Naes, Jeffrey Larson, great-niece/nephew, Annasty Naes and Dylan Brewer.

Gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday December 6, 2019, from 4pm-8pm at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, IL.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10:30 am at Sunset Hill Funeral Home.  Burial will follow immediately at Sunset Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or American Heart Association.
