Sue Ann Reed, nee Thurwalker, 69, of Collinsville, Ill., born Dec. 9, 1941, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 12:12 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.



Mrs. Reed was a retired real estate agent with Century 21 Harrison Group. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, the Women's Club of Collinsville, Ill., and was a graduate of Cahokia High School.



Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen, nee Lynch, Thurwalker; and a daughter, Susan Cook.



Surviving are her husband, John C. Reed of Collinsville, Ill., whom she married on Oct. 12, 1960; son, John C. (Kim) Reed of Pleaston, Calif.; sisters, Sandra (Charles) Groves of Waterloo, Ill., and Pam Bergman of Cahokia, Ill.; brothers, Robert (Barb) Thurwalker of Collinsville, Ill., and Jim (Bonnie) Thurwalker of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Joe (Melissa) Cook, Jack and Katie Reed; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at St. John Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill., with the Rev. Roger Wright officiating. Interment will follow.
