It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Sylvia Hubert, on November 10th, 2024.

Born August of 1938, the ninth child of ten, Sylvia brought love and joy with her wherever she went. She loved working in the garden, following the St. Louis Cardinal Baseball team and traveling to Florida for vacation. Her greatest love was family. She always put family first.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents: Vincent and Mary, her husband James Hubert; her nine siblings: Dorothy, Gloria, Anita, Lillian, Vincent Jr., Mary, Betty, Joe and James.

Sylvia is survived by her children: Robert (Cheryl) Hubert, Joel (Carol) Hubert, Lori (Steven) Voelkel; and her grandchildren: Brandy, Kevin, Savana, Kyra, and Natalie.

The funeral will be held Monday, November 18th, with visitation from 10:00 am to 12:00pm and service at 12:00pm, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon Illinois, with burial to follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
