Sylvia A. Richie, nee Jennings, 73, of Caseyville, Ill., born Aug. 20, 1938, in Bardwell, Ky., died at 5:52 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at her residence.



Sylvia was an accountant for the former Beck Flavors in St. Louis, Mo. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Flora, nee Webb, Jennings.



Surviving are her husband, Wendell Richie, whom she married on Sept. 11, 1999; a daughter, Carla Cole of Caseyville, Ill.; a son, Michael (Louise) Caughlin of Fairview Heights, Ill.; sister, Marilyn Riddle of Loudonville, N.Y.; granddaughter, Christina Pate of O'Fallon, Ill.; and two great-grandsons, Reese and Elliott.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at the funeral home with Pastor Mike King officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
