Teresa E. Harrison, nee Armstrong, 90, of Edwardsville, Ill., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born Feb. 23, 1924, in New York, N.Y., died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Rosewood Car Center, Edwardsville, Ill.

Teresa was a very active member of the Collinsville Senior Citizens and also assisted in the Right to Life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Harrison, whom she married Feb. 2, 1944; parents, Patrick and Delia Armstrong; four brothers, Michael, William, Patrick and Thomas; and a sister, Rita.

Surviving are three sons and three daughters, Robert (Joan) Harrison of Troy, Ill., William Harrison of Jacksonville, Fla., Deborah (Tim) Waterhouse of Troy, Ill., Thomas (Arlene) Harrison of Troy, Ill., Rita (Jeff) Harrington of Bowling Green, Ky., and Sandra (Stephen) Conway of Edwardsville, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill., and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at the church with Father John Beveridge officiating. Burial will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill.
