Terry Lee Deatherage, 70, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, formerly of Collinsville, Illinois passed away Friday, January 22nd 2016. He was born Monday, September 17th, 1945 in Collinsville, Illinois to Peter Lee and Mary (Wille) Deatherage. He married Rose Cerny, May 8th, 2003.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Rose, children; Julie Varble of Glen Carbon, Illinois and Jeff (Kerri) Wahl of Edwardsville, Illinois, one brother; Dan (Sharon) Deatherage of Somerset, Kentucky, niece, Jamie Burke of Lexington, Kentucky, grandchildren; Ashlee Varble, Jacob Wahl and Myles Wahl. He is further survived by sister-in-law and special friend, Monica Langreder of Glen Carbon, Illinois and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Terry was an avid fisherman and a loving friend.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Wednesday, January 27th, 2016 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville with funeral at 12:00 pm at the church. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the family for the college educations of his grandchildren; Jacob Wahl, Myles Wahl, and Ashlee Varble.
