Thelma Clara Greer, age 91, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away on December 2, 2024.

She was born on October 9, 1933, to Adam and Julie Govero (nee Rogers).

Thelma married James E. Greer Sr. on June 6, 1952, in Granite City, Illinois.

She was the co-owner of G&G Lumber & Hardware and G&G Lawnmower Repair.

Thelma was an auditor for Chouteau Township. A member of the Girl Scouts and very active with Mitchell Athletic Club.

She is survived by children; James E. Greer Jr., Thelma Jean Edmundson and Chris Daniel Greer; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Thelma is preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Robin Julia Rinehart.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sunset Hill Funeral Home on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 9:30-11:00am with services to follow at 11:00.
