Theodore Charles Kinnear, 68, of Collinsville, Ill., born Feb. 9, 1944, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., died at 9:37 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at the Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, Ill.



Mr. Kinnear was a Vietnam U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the VFW Post 5691 in Collinsville, Ill. He retired as an assemblyman from the Ford Motor Company in St. Louis, Mo.



Theodore was preceded in death by his parents, Bert Louis and Opal G., nee McKinnon, Kinnear Sr.



Surviving are his children, Kevin (Kayc) Kinnear of Collinsville, Ill., Kirk B. Kinnear of Collinsville, Ill., and Kimberly A. Kinnear of Collinsville, Ill.; brothers, Bert Louis Kinnear Jr., of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., and Wayne Kinnears of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral: Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
