Theodore W. Hartwig

Theodore W. Hartwig 83 of Collinsville, Illinois passed away on Friday June 16, 2017. Ted was born in Collinsville, Illinois on March 22, 1934 the son of the late Theodore W. and Margaret nee Mees Hartwig. He was also preceded by two sisters Margaret Ann Hatwig and Elsie Huelsman.

Ted married Jeanette nee Bollmann on November 3, 1962 who survives. He is also survived by four sons John (Sarah) Hartwig of Troy, Illinois, David (Lisa) Hartwig of Collinsville, Illinois, Dan ( Cindy) Hartwig of Collinsville, Illinois and Albert (Natalie) Hartwig of Delaware, Ohio. Also a sister Lucy Hartwig of Maryville, Illinois. 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Ted was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church in Caseyville. Illinois. He was a former fork lift operator for Spectrolight and also did farming.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Illinois on Monday June 19, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Caseyville, Illinois

Services: Funeral mass will be conducted at St. Stephens Catholic Church with Father Ray Schultz officiating on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM with burial following at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Collinsville, Illinois.
