Theresa Berg

Theresa Berg, nee Cunningham, 88, of Scottsdale, Ariz., passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2016.

Theresa was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Named after Saint Therese Lisieux, Theresa exemplified the qualities of kindness and showing love in numerous small ways to everyone she knew. She follows her husband, David J. Berg into the afterlife.

Surviving are her daughters, Virginia Berg Myrick and Pamela Berg Hollerbach; sisters, Florence Cunningham Foster and Peg Cunningham Bohnenstiehl.

Visitation: Friends may visit with the family 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill., with a prayer service at 4 p.m., and 9:30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Ill., with Father John Beveridge officiating. Burial to follow at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill. There will be a luncheon and time for reminiscing at the church.
