Therese A. Meredith, nee Bernasco, 82, of Collinsville, Ill., born March 29, 1931, in Collinsville, Ill., died at 8:53 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Relais Bonne Eau in Edwardsville, Ill.

Therese was a wonderful homemaker. She loved her family and friends. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed sewing and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Meredith, whom she married on June 25, 1951; parents, Albert and Anna, nee McMullen, Bernasco; five sisters; and two brothers.

Surviving are her son, Tim (Mary) Meredith of Collinsville, Ill.; daughter, Nancy Lopez of Edwardsville, Ill.; grandchildren, Meredith Lopez, Katherine Lopez, Alan Meredith, Annie Meredith, Mark Meredith, Kelly Meredith and Samuel Meredith; great-granddaughter, Adelaide Lopez; and sister, Joan Arth of Collinsville, Ill.
