Thomas Edward Sweney, 31, of Collinsville, Ill., born June 20, 1985, in Belleville, Ill., passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, in Collinsville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Stephanie, nee Hayes, Sweney.

Surviving are his father, Thomas V. Sweney of Maryville, Ill.; a sister, Alicia Sweney of University City, Mo.; a brother, Daniel Sweney of University City, Mo.; his maternal grandmother, Margie Wright of Collinsville, Ill.; and his cousins, Ashley Hayes of Belleville, Ill., David Hayes of St. Rose, Ill., Lauren Hayes of Ft. Collins, Colo., Madeline Hayes of Collinsville, Ill., and Allie Hayes of Ft. Collins, Colo.

Services: Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday June 25, 2016, at the funeral home, with Rev. Tony Minear officiating. Private graveside services will be held at a later date
