Thomas F. Modglin, 58, of St. Louis, Mo., born April 30, 1954, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at his residence.

Tom was employed at Bio Medical Systems for 29 years as chief financial officer. He graduated from the university of Notre Dame in 1976 as valedictorian of the business class. He also graduated from Assumption High School in 1976 as valedictorian.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Mary Anne, nee Klug, Modglin.

Surviving are his two sisters, Margaret "Margie" Modglin of Westwood, Kan., and Michelle (Barry) McMillin of Collinsville, Ill.; a brother, Gerry (Mary) Modglin of St. Charles, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Molly and Matthew McMillin, and Laura, Ellen, and Grant Modglin; special friends, Monsignor John Myler, Shelia O'Brien, Linda Shine, Lynn Venhaus, and Nancy Grable; and several godchildren.
