Thomas H. Odom of Collinsville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Anderson Hospital with his family by his side. Thomas was born in State Park, Illinois to parents JD and Maggie Katherine (Healey) Odom on April 30, 1949.

Years ago, Thomas built stock cars and looked forward to racing them on Saturday nights at Highland Speedway. As he grew older, he had some newfound hobbies he took joy in. He loved barbequing, planting tomato plants, and taking care of his beautiful butterfly and rose bushes. Thomas just enjoyed being outside working in his yard, but what he cherished the most was his family.

His sons were the world to him.  He loved taking them to baseball and soccer games. It gave him great pleasure to watch them grow into young men and raise their children. He loved to play with his grandchildren and watch them grow. He would do anything for his family. Thomas was a loving husband of 49 years to his beloved wife Cathy, and he will be sorely missed by all who loved him every day.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents JD and Maggie, Brothers, Darrel Odom, Dennis Odom, Albert Odom, Bobby Odom, and his Sister Katherine Worthy.

Those left to cherish his memory include his Wife Cathy Odom, Sons Mark (Jaime) Odom of St. Louis, Mo., and Steven (Abby) Odom of Collinsville, Il.  Grandchildren Alexander, Christian, Rebecca, Ana, and Jubilee. Brothers James Odom of Yuma, AZ. Danny (Lynne) Caseyville, Il, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
