Thomas Daniel Schmerbauch, 48, of Collinsville, Ill., born Monday, Aug. 9, 1965, in Belleville, Ill., died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Bonnie, nee Ware, Schmerbauch; and his faithful friend and companion for 16 years, his dog "Dodie".

Surviving are three sisters, Lynn (David) Reaka of Collinsville, Ill., Jennifer (Scott Shaw) Schmerbauch of Collinsville, Ill., and Kimberly Weaver of Collinsville, Ill.; nephew, Scott Weaver; nieces, Christine Weaver and Katie Reaka; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Jim Donahue officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
