Thomas "Tommy" I.  Stines IV

Thomas "Tommy" I. Stines IV, 48, of Swansea, IL., born August 31, 1969, in Independence, MO., passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018, in Swansea, IL.

Thomas especially loved spending time with his three children and enjoyed his late night talks with Taylor.  He enjoyed listening to music and playing with his faithful dog "Smokey" by his side.  He was a driver for Red - E – Mix Concrete Company for 17 years.

He was preceded in death by his brother David M. Stines; his maternal grandparents, Alex (Ruby) Varady; his paternal grandparents, Dr. Thomas (Jeanne Marie) Stines Jr.; his uncles, Raymond Varady, Richard Stines; his aunts, Laura Stines, Virginia Stines.

Surviving are his loving children, Taylor Lynn Stines, Thomas "Tommy" I. Stines V, Alexa Lauren Stines; his mother Dee, nee Varady, Stines of Swansea, IL; his father Thomas I. (Connie) Stines III of Belleville, IL.; his former wife Shelly Stines of Shiloh, IL.; his step brothers, Bennie Hume of Decatur, IL., Brad Hume of Belleville, IL.; his uncles, James Stines, Michael (Cheryl) Varady.

"Those special memories of you will always bring a smile if only I could have you back for just a little while Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do you always meant so very much and always will do too The fact that you're no longer here will always cause me pain but you're forever in my heart until we meet again".  A poem from Taylor, Tommy and Alexa for their father.
