Todd Nicholas Tipton, 56 years old, was born on August 18, 1964, in East St. Louis, IL, and passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021, in Rochester, IL.

His favorite things to do were to take his wife on the boat (gambling or canoeing), spending time with his kids, hunting, fishing, and just hanging out. He absolutely loved his job and the people he worked with. Anyone who was lucky enough to know Todd knows that he never met a stranger. He told the best stories and could make anyone laugh. He was loved and cared by so many.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Tipton (nee Barton).

He is survived by his beloved wife, who he married on May 3, 1997, Mary Tipton (nee Zucha); his children, Tara (Secilaa) Rujawitz, Tatum (Stephanie) Tipton, Nicholas (Amanda) Tipton, and Dylan (Codi) Tipton; his brothers, Tracy Tipton and Tom (Becky) Tipton; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Nita (Tom) Luetkemeyer, Yvonne Zucha, Steve Zucha, Daniel Zucha, and Darvin Zucha; his grandson, Lennon Rujawitz; his nieces and nephews, Joshua Luetkemeyer, Theresa Tipton, Christina Tipton, Zach Tipton, Rachel Thurston, Ryan Tipton, and Sam Tipton; his beloved dogs, Betty and Charlie; many cherished, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 8, 2021, from 4 pm to 8 pm, at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL. A funeral service will be held the next morning, Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 10 am, at Herr Funeral Home, and burial will immediately follow at St. Johns Cemetery in Collinsville, IL.
