Tommie L. "T.K." Koblitz, 59, of Collinsville, Ill., born Jan. 17, 1954, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 8:25 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Tom, or T.K., as he was affectionately known, graduated from Collinsville High School in 1972, attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Ill., for two years and has work for the U.S. Post Office in Belleville, Ill., for the past 30 years. Tom loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his two grandchildren. Tom was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed golfing, trout fishing, and trips with his close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Courtland W. and Juanita M., nee Painter, Koblitz Sr.
Surviving are his daughter, Krystina (Roger) Gross of Arnold, Mo.; son, Kyle B. Kobitz; granddaughter, Abigail E. Gross; grandson, Adam M. Gross; and brother, Dr. Courtland "Dick" Koblitz Jr., of Caseyville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at St. John United Church of Christ in Collinsville, Ill., with the Rev. Tony Minear officiating. Interment in St. John Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill.
