Tyler William Anderson (23), beloved son of Ken and Debbie Anderson, and cherished brother of Kimberly Anderson Elliott, Kendall Anderson Jr., Ashley Anderson and Abigail Anderson, brother-in-law of Brian Elliott and Kim Anderson, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012.



He will be greatly missed by his grandparents Dr. and Mrs. John Beatty, Ms. Malinda Fulmer, Mr. And Mrs. Terryl Francis, Mr. Gilbert Anderson, and his beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.



Tyler was also loved by his four legged friends: Socks, Raven, Daisy and Jackson.



Tyler was a 2006 graduate of Edwardsville High School and also attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Southwestern Illinois College.



Tyler was most recently employed at Allied Business Systems as a Service Technician by his dear friend and mentor Ed Twesten. He also had worked as groundskeeper at Oak Brook Golf Club for the Suhre Family.



While there wasn't a sport that Tyler didn't love and participate in, he especially loved fly fishing on annual family trout fishing trips. He also loved playing ice hockey and was an alternate captain of the EHS Tigers J.V. ice hockey team. In his earlier years he was a very accomplished bowler, spending each and every Saturday bowling for the Montclaire Bowl league team. He particularly loved following his St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals sports teams.



Although he is gone, no one will ever forget Tyler's amazing smile and those big, beautiful brown eyes. He had a wonderful sense of humor and yet was capable of being loving and caring at the same time. We don't know what we will do without our beautiful boy, but we will cherish our memories of Tyler until we join him in Heaven.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, Ill.



Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at Esic Baptist Church, Edwardsville, Ill. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon, Ill.
