Tyler King, 25, of Collinsville, Ill., born Nov. 2, 1987, in Maryville, Ill., died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo., after a two and half year battle with cancer.
Tyler graduated from Collinsville High School in 2006. He loved to trout fish, run RC cars, spend time with his niece, Chloe, and his brother, Terry, watching TV, and go online to EBay.
Surviving are his parents, Terry and Lynn, nee Gillespie, King of Collinsville, Ill.; a brother, Terry (Heather) King Jr. of Collinsville, Ill.; a sister, Mandi Smith of Highland, Ill.; his grandmothers, Eleanor Yonkus of Collinsville, Ill., Rita Gillespie of Moline, Ill., Louise Gillespie of Collinsville, Ill., and Doris King of Collinsville, Ill.; a niece and two nephews, Chloe King of Collinsville, Ill., and Hunter Smith of Highland, Ill., and Kevin Smith of Highland, Ill.
