Velda Vern Turner (nee Randolph), 80, of Caseyville, IL, born April 1, 1933 died Saturday, February 15, 2014.

Beloved wife of the late John I. Turner; dear mother of Linda Sutterfield of Caseyville, IL and James Michael (Karen) Turner of Fredericktown, MO; grandmother of 7; great-grandmother of 11.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Ruby C. Randolph (nee Clark) and Arvel H. Randolph; son, Robert Turner, and brother Lindell Randolph.

Velda retired from the Brown Shoe Co. and was a former member of Arcadia Valley Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Services: Per her request, cremation will be accorded.

Visitation Saturday, February 22, 12-2 p.m. followed by services at 2 p.m. at Herr Funeral Home, Caseyville, IL.
