Verna Sue, nee Simonson, Miller, 61, of Collinsville, Ill., born Thursday, March 11, 1954, in Joplin, Mo., died Friday, March 13, 2015, at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Leroy, and Wyeetia Laverne, nee Hurst, Simonson

Surviving are her husband, Donald Miller of Collinsville, Ill., whom she married March 23, 1973; two daughters, Tina Louise (Allen C. Williams) Miller of Granite City, Ill., and Christina Marie (Brian David) Kaufman of Collinsville, Ill.; two grandsons, Jacob Matthew Kaufman, and Brian David Kaufman Jr.; a brother, Edward Allen Simonson of Belleville, Ill.; four sisters, Rhonda Darlene Pfalzgraf of Staunton, Ill., Debra Dianne Wasser of Collinsville, Ill., Pamela Jean Simonson of Florida, and Sharon Kay Tomaszewski of Edwardsville, Ill.; her friend, Barbara Akers, of Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear close friends. She will be deeply missed by all.
