Vernie Blackburn, age 89, of Maryville, IL, died Sunday, March 8, 2009 at his residence. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 12 at Herr Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairland Cemetery in Maryville, IL.
