Vickie Lee Champion, 67, of Swansea, Illinois, passed away on January 6, 2022, at Swansea Rehabilitation & Health Center.

Vickie was born September 11, 1954, in East St. Louis, Illinois, to William E. and Mildred (Stanley) Duvall.  She worked for over 30 years as a CNA for Collinsville Rehab.She was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Belleville. Vickie was a great sister and aunt.  She was a kind and caring person and she loved her dogs.

She was preceded by her parents; and brother, William Duvall.

Survivors include her sister, Merle Moore of Swansea, Illinois; brother Roy Duvall of Swansea, Illinois; nieces and nephews:  Rick (Laura) Moore of Collinsville, Illinois, Terrie Weber of Herrin, Illinois, and David Moore of Belleville, Illinois; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W. Main Street, Collinsville, Illinois. Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation has been accorded by Herr Funeral Home of Collinsville.
