Virginia F. Edwards, 100, of California, Mo., born March 8, 1911, in Trenton, Ill., died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at Moniteau Care Center, California, Mo.



Miss Edwards was a retired Civil Service employee with the Illinois Telephone and Telegraph after 30 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Collinsville for over 85 years and a member of the Rebecca Lodge of Collinsville.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruby, nee Gillespie, Edwards.



Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, Collinsville, Ill., with the Rev. Mark Horn officiating. Burial will be held at Robinson Cemetery, Pocahontas, Ill.
