Virginia L. Gray, 89, of Maryville, born June 18, 1928, passed away June 22, 2017, at Anderson Hospital.

Virginia was a member of the Revive Assembly of God Church for 75 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry F. Gray whom she married in 1947; her daughter, Norma Lee Sams; her parents, Carl and Onie Bell, nee Coleman, Hankins; her brothers, Hugh Hankins, James Hankins, Buford Hankins and Ray Hankins.

Surviving are her son, William (Linda Lee) Gray of Mascoutah, Ill.; two sisters, Nancy Sue Hale of Maryville, Ill. and Pat Pearson of Pekin Ill.; her grandchildren, Christina Lynn Herrin and Jason R. Sams; her great grandchild, Devin M. Kelemetc.

Funeral: Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, June 26, 2017, at Herr Funeral Home, with Pastor Miles Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at St John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
