Virginia Redd, nee Leonard, 89, of Collinsville, Ill., born Aug. 15, 1926, in Newport, Ark., passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Gateway Regional Medical Center, Granite City, Ill.
Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded by her husband, Robert Dean Redd; her parents, Robert J. and Bertha, nee Davis, Leonard, mother Bertha nee Davis; and a son, Terry Redd.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol (Wayne) Meyers of St. Charles, Mo.; a son, Bobby (Glenda) Redd of Gray Summit, Mo.; a daughter, Victoria (Pete) Dunn of Festus, Mo.; a daughter, Bertha Mae (Junior) Forshee of Bonne Terre, Mo.; a daughter, Glenda Lee (Sam) Lamonds of Farmington, Mo.; a son, Ronald (Michelle) Redd of Collinsville, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday November 11, 2015, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday November 12, 2015, at the funeral home, with Rev. Ron Habermehl officiating. Interment will be conducted at St. Trinity Cemetery, 2160 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, Mo.
