Virginia L. Troin, nee Tripp, 85, of Collinsville, Ill., born May 11, 1929, in Pomona, Ill., passed away at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Anderson Hospital Maryville, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Carl Troin Sr.; her parents, Rolla and Claudia, nee Nance, Tripp; a brother; and four sisters.

Surviving are two sons, Mark A. Troin and wife of Troy, Ill., and Michael C. (Diahann) Troin Jr., of Wildwood, Mo.; a brother, Gordon Tripp of Herrin, Ill.; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Christina and Madison; and a great-grandchild.
