Vivian Rose Hrysko, nee Kofahl, 67, of Collinsville, Ill., born Jan. 21, 1947, in Granite City, Ill., passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side, on Friday, April 18, 2014, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Hrysko worked with the top cosmetic companies and worked for Christian Dior before her retirement as an account executive. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially her grandsons.
She was preceded in death by parents, Edward Charles and Eva Laverne, nee Campbell, Kofahl.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel Hrysko; two daughters, Hollie (Jason) Lorsbach of Maryville, Ill., and Heather (Charles) Zieba of Wildwood, Mo.; three grandsons, Alexander Lorsbach of Maryville, Ill., Evan Zieba of Wildwood, Mo., and Marcus Zieba of Wildwood, Mo.; three brothers and a sister, Terry Kofahl of Maryville, Ill., Diane Palermo of Rockwell, Texas, Chuck Kofahl of Albuquerque, N.M., and Steve Kofahl of Granite City, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society .
Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Kofahl officating. Her remains were donated for anatomical study per Vivian's request.
