Vivian "Janice" Roberts, 92, of Maryville, Illinois passed away Tuesday, September 3 ^rd , 2019. She was born Friday, November 19 ^th , 1926 in Dallas, Texas to Leslie and Edith (Smith) Wright. She later married Milton "Nooney" Roberts October 5 ^th , 1946.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Janice is survived by children, Donna (Bill) Unwin of Manchester, Missouri, Gayle (Rick) Jarvis of Maryville, Illinois and Dwayne Roberts of Maryville, Illinois. She is further survived by grandchildren, Christi Waddington of Edwardsville, Illinois, Julie Saletto of Manchester, Missouri, Cara Miller of Edwardsville, Illinois, Jason Unwin of Ballwin, Missouri, and six great-grandchildren.

Janice was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maryville, Illinois. An avid bird watcher, had a fondness for yellow roses and loved her St. Louis Cardinals.

The family would like to acknowledge Vitas Hospice for their exemplary care for Janice.

Visitation will be Monday, September 9 ^th , 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois.
