Vivian C. Soehlke, nee Sbardelotto, 91, of Collinsville, Ill., born March 22, 1920, in Caseyville, Ill., died at 4:36 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.



Mrs. Soehlke retired from the office of Dr. Pfaff after 28 years of service.



She was preceded in death by her husband, August "Gus" Soehlke, whom she married on Jan. 4, 1939; son, John "Jack" Soehlke; parents, James and Lena, nee Airola, Sbardelotto; and sister, Viola Sbardelotto.



Surviving are her sons, Jim (Pat) Soehlke of Caseyville, Ill., and Jerry (Jane) Soehlke of Maryville, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Tami (Steve) Hudson, Timi (Brad) McMillin, Jim (Laura) Soehlke, Traci (Dave) Olmstead, Tari (Joe) Christ, Stacey (Jeff) Lauenstein and Sara (Tim) Doherty; 19 great-grandchildren, Aaron (Jenny) Hudson, Niki Hudson, Natali Hudson, Ally (Glenn) Otey, Jordan McMillin, Kalyn McMillin, Alyssa Soehlke, Jessica Soehlke, Somer and Olivia Olmstead, Amelia, Lena, Josy, Mary, Louisa and Gus Christ, Audrey Lauenstein and Tommy and Timmy Doherty; a great-great-grandchild, Paxton Otey and another great-great-grandchild, baby girl Hudson due Nov. 4, 2011; and two dear friends, Violet Fletcher and Celine Kaiser.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, Ill.



Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at the church with Father John Beveridge officiating. Interment in St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill.
