Ward Timothy Elkins Sr, age 59, passed away on Friday January 24 ^th , 2020 at his home in Shiloh IL.

He is survived by 7 children; April (Elkins) Flores, Bobbie Selle, Ward Elkins Jr, Sarah Elkins, Jacob Elkins and Stephanie Elkins, Lacey (Elkins) Finch and Justin Finch, Karen Elkins, and Tabitha Elkins. He also leaves behind twenty grandchildren, his mother Easter, his sister Eileen, sister Melissa, brother Mark, sister Gwen, sister Kim, and brother Brian. He was a beloved step-father, uncle, and friend.

He is proceeded in death by his father William, brother Billy, sister Linda, and his brother Larry.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and leaves behind his beloved service dog.  He was born in Illinois on January 18, 1961 and grew up in Greenville, IL. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors.

Funeral services will be held at Herr Funeral Home, 501 West Main St. Collinsville, IL. The viewing will be on Tuesday January 28 ^th from 4pm – 7pm with services following at 7pm.
