Warren G. Leeper Jr., 80, of Edwardsville, Ill., born March 10, 1932, in St. Louis, Mo., died at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at his residence.



Warren worked for Granite City Tile for 45 years. He continued his craft as a tile setter for many years after that, also tiling the houses of his children. He also had a great love for wood working . He was a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Local 18.



He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren G. and Caroline, nee Blattel, Leeper Sr.



Surviving are his wife, Evelyn, nee Nicholson, Leeper whom he married on Oct. 6, 1950; son, Michael (Lisa) Leeper of St. Louis, Mo; daughters, Cathy (Victor) Reznack of Edwardsville, Ill., and Rebecca (Dr. Douglas) DesPain of Freeburg, Ill.; grandchildren, Justin Leeper, Andrew (fiancee, Emily Gieszelman) Reznack and Christina Reznack; sister-in-law, Sharon (William) Harper of O'Fallon, Mo.; niece, Teresa (Jeff) Seerey of O'Fallon, Mo.; great-nephews, Landon, Logan and Colin; grand dogs, Baxter and Annie; and grand horses, Chance and Destiny.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Glen Carbon, Ill.
