Wilela A. Cox, nee Fritz, 88, of Collinsville, Ill., born Sept. 19, 1923, in Collinsville, Ill., died at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at Collinsville Rehab. & Health Care Center in Collinsville, Ill.



Mrs. Cox was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Collinsville, Ill.



Wilela was preceded in death by her first husband, Rodgers Buckles; second husband, Manton Cox; and parents, William and Marcella, nee Rollchen, Fritz.



Surviving are her step sons, Donald (Deanna) Cox of Rochester, Ill., and Russell (Ronda) Cox of Hickory, N.C.; sister, Marceline Booth of Collinsville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
