William L. "Bill" Kerwin, 82, of Collinsville, Ill., born Thursday, Dec. 1, 1932, in Collinsville passed away at 4:32 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Bill was a lifetime member of the VFW Collinsville and the American Legion Collinsville. He was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Frances, nee Baudino, Kerwin; and a brother, Richard Kerwin.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret "Pat", nee Giovando, Kerwin, whom he married on June 14, 1952; a son, William (Kay) Kerwin of Collinsville, Ill.; daughters, Diana (David) Lesny of Champaign, Ill., Donna (Chris) Burton of Murphysboro, Ill., and Mary (William) Stogner of Collinsville, Ill.; nephews, Daniel Kerwin and Paul (Linda) Kerwin; a brother-in-law, Jerald Giovando; grandchildren, Robert, Amber, Nikolas, Nathan, Drew, Stephanie, Christopher, and William; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Ill., with Father John Beveridge officiating. Burial will be in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
