William "Billy" R. Hunter, 49, of Granite City, Illinois passed away March 14 ^th , 2019. He was born on December 2 ^nd , 1969 in East St. Louis, Illinois to William and Wanda (Glenn) Hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Robert E. Hunter. Billy is survived by his girlfriend, Kara Heath of Granite City, Illinois, cousins, Bobby Hunter of O'Fallon, Illinois, Tony (Melinda) Hunter of Collinsville, Illinois, Leonard Hunter of Odessa, Texas, Charlene Hunter of O'Fallon, Illinois, second cousins, Hannah and Angel Hunter of O'Fallon, Illinois, friend of the family, Angie Goodman of Collinsville, Illinois and numerous other cousins and friends.

Billy was a Carpenter by trade and worked very hard to make every day count.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 26 ^th , 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois.

Funeral will be Tuesday, March 26 ^th , 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, with the Reverend Ron Habermehl officiating.

Memorials may be made to the family and will be taken at the funeral home.
