William "Uncle Bill" Reynolds, 79, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away at his home on
July 9, 2021.
Bill was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Roy and Edna (Grieves) Reynolds on October 13,
1941. He served in the United States Navy from 1960 until 1964. Bill married Donna
Sue Leicht in 1964 and spent 58 years together.
He was a member of the VFW Post #5691 in Collinsville, Illinois. Bill loved to fish, play
pool, cards and dice. He was happiest spending time with his grandkids. He taught them
all to swim and was one of their biggest supporters when it came to their sports.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Edna Reynolds;  sister,
Carolyn Nordhaus; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rich and Alice Buhl.
Survivors include his loving wife, Donna Sue Reynolds of Collinsville, Illinois; sons: Bill
(Debbie) Reynolds of Troy, Illinois, and Craig (Kelly) Reynolds of Collinsville, Illinois;
sister, Diane (Rich) Frazer of Caseyville, Illinois; grandchildren: Jessica Reynolds of
Collinsville, Illinois, Cody Reynolds of Collinsville, Illinois, Hunter Reynolds of Troy,
Illinois, and Charlie Reed of Granite City, Illinois;  great-grandchild, Rainer
Reynolds; former daughter-in-law, Kim Reynolds;as well as several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been accorded by Herr Funeral Home & Cremation Services of
Collinsville, Illinois. No services are scheduled.
