William "Patrick" Sealy, 74, of Santa Clarita, California and recently Glen Carbon, IL passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at his home with family by his side.

Patrick was born to parents Edward M. and Helen Mae (Stewart) Sealy in Joliet, IL., on August 15, 1948.

He married his loving wife, Carol Ann on June 4, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Patrick was an accomplished man; he began his career as a licensed respiratory therapist. He later obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business and then an MBA. He devoted 54 years of his life by serving in the health care industry. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Patrick loved music and was strong in faith, having played the guitar at his home church, St. Clare's in Santa Clarita, California. His love of music was only trumped by his love of baseball. He never missed a game watching the Dodgers, Cardinals or Cubs. He was funny, dry witted, kind and very generous with his time.

He is preceded in death by his parents father Edward M., mother Helen M. Bluth, step-father Joseph M. Bluth, brother James E. Sealy "PeeWee" and brother in-law R. Coert Shepard.

Surviving are his loving wife Carol Ann Sealy, sister Donna Shepard, niece Nikki Starbuck, great-niece Norah Jo Starbuck, sister-in-law Peg Sealy, nephews Matthew and Kevin Sealy; as well as his in-laws Stephanie (Terry) Holding, Helen (Doug) Homet, Richard (Debbie) Cousineau, Stephan Cousineau and several nieces and nephews.

He will be sorely missed by his fur babies, Jackson and Tessa Mae.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon IL, at 11:00 a.m.
