William "Bill" George Skinner, 58, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on October 21, 2021, at Memorial East Hospital.

Bill was born February 18, 1963, in St. Louis, Missouri, to George Archibald and Betty (Braun) Skinner.

Bill was a member of Northsmoke Church in State Park, Illinois. He served at the Food Pantry tin State Park for many years. He was a Mayflower, John Alden descendant.

Bill was a man of many hobbies and talents. One of his hobbies was his bubble making where he perfected not only the solution, but the size. He made bubbles that were up to 31 feet in size.  He was a photographer, dirt bike racer, and with no doubt a YouTube premium member. He could fix anything and if he couldn't, then it wasn't broke.  He was best known for his dependability and willingness to help anyone who needed it, whether it was fixing a car, house, or anything else. He was always a phone call away. He lived life to the fullest, he liked to go fast and take chances.  Bill grew up in church and preached God's message until his last breath.

He enjoyed food, so cooking and grilling were his favorites. He had many specialties, which included: steak, skillet pizza, bbq ribs and pork steaks, and his chili, to name a few.  Bill was loved by all.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ruby A. Skinner of Collinsville, Illinois; sons: William Nathanial (Brittany)Skinner of Collinsville, Illinois, Lucas George Skinner of Collinsville, Illinois, and Noah Christian (Makenzie) Skinner of Caseyville, Illinois; brother, Thomas (Daniel Smith) Skinner of Collinsville, Illinois; grandchildren:  Autumn, Christopher, and Andromeda; and cousin, Kurt Minton of St. Louis, Missouri.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Northsmoke Church, 3301 Harvard Place, Collinsvilee,  IIlinois.
