Zachary Alan Briggs, 23, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Memorial Hospital Belleville
in Belleville, IL. Born in Saint Peters, MO, he graduated from Jersey Community High school in
Jerseyville, IL before he followed his heart to Belleville to start his life with his soulmate, Ivy Micke.
He was a shift manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts, an avid car lover, and a spirited debater, "Well,
actually…" — Zach Briggs, every day of his life.
Survived by: elder siblings Julia Russell-Horn, Edward Russell-Horn, Tana Alexander, and Mark
Briggs, mother Sandy Dunn, and guardians Carol and Randy Horn; he was preceded in death by his
father Alan Briggs.
Viewing service will take place from 4-7pm at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Cemetery & Cremation
Services, 50 Fountain Dr., Glen Carbon, IL 62034, with a Celebration of Life to follow from 6-9pm
