COLLINSVILLE, IL- Zachary James Schaltenbrand, 28, of Collinsville, IL passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

Zach was born on September 15, 1989 in Belleville, IL to Ellen M. (Schaltenbrand) Warner. She survives and resides in Collinsville, IL.

Also surviving are his daughters, Hailey Kay Schaltenbrand and Briella Mae Schaltenbrand; his brother, Ryan Warner; his grandmother, JoAnn Schaltenbrand; aunts & uncles, Richard (Kim) Schaltenbrand, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Schaltenbrand, and Anthony (Lisa) Schaltenbrand; and cousins, Justin Whitney, Keira Whitney, Stephania Schaltenbrand, Derek Schaltenbrand, Alena Schaltenbrand, Bryce Schaltenbrand, Aubrey Schaltenbrand, Paige Schaltenbrand & Dylan Schaltenbrand.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James P. Schaltenbrand.

Zach worked as a body repairman and painter for Smash Bros Automotive in Granite City, IL. He was a former student of Collinsville High School. Zach will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

VISITATION: A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 3:00 P.M.- 5:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.

SERVICE- A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Pastor Ron Habermehl will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded.
